David D. Larson, Jr., was born in Montgomery, Alabama, in 1971. David received his B.A. from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, studying English and history. For law school, David attended the University of Wyoming College of Law, earning his J.D. in 1998. He is admitted to practice in the State of North Carolina as well as before the U.S. District Court in the Eastern District of North Carolina.

David practices primarily in the area of personal injury, particularly handling auto accidents. He began his legal career working for a large insurance defense firm, which gave him valuable experience and insight in dealing with insurance companies.
