HensonFuerst Makes Headline with $1.6M Settlement

HensonFuerst attorney Carma Henson secured a $1.6 million settlement in August 2008 for a client who was severely injured in an accident with a dump truck.

North Carolina Lawyers Weekly reported on the story in January. Our client was injured in June 2006 when a dump truck failed to stop at a stoplight and crushed her vehicle.

She suffered severe injuries to her chest and head, several broken ribs, a hurt shoulder, a lacerated spleen, and breathing problems that required surgery.

She also suffered a traumatic brain injury, caused by a lack of oxygen from her respiratory problems and was in hospital care for about five weeks. She was released with 24-hour home care for her brain injury.
