Along with Robert Fuerst, Thomas Henson Sr. cofounded the firm. He focuses his skills mainly on nursing home negligence, helping people who have been the victims of nursing home abuse. He believes that the firm's work in this area acts as quality control for the nursing homes, and he understands that changes are made when lawsuits point out the outrageous deficiencies in the medical care provided. He also handles medical malpractice lawsuits.
Tom is admitted to practice in front of the North Carolina and U.S. District Courts, Eastern District of North Carolina; the U.S. District Court, Middle District of North Carolina; and the U.S. Supreme Court.
Tom has an “AV” rating with Martindale-Hubbell, the highest rating an attorney can receive. This rating “shows that a lawyer has reached the height of professional excellence. He or she has usually practiced law for many years and is recognized for the highest levels of skill and integrity.”
Tom graduated with a Bachelor of Science in business administration in 1964 and a Juris Doctorate in 1967 from the University of North Carolina.
