September 15th to October 15th, 2016 is National Hispanic Heritage Month. Hispanic Heritage Month recognizes the incredible literary, cultural, and social contributions made by Hispanic Americans which help enrich our community and our country.
Recently, Attorney Rachel Fuerst helped celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month by volunteering at the Raleigh Fiesta Del Pueblo. La Fiesta Del Pueblo is a celebration of Latino and Latina heritage, music, food, and culture in the Piedmont Triad community. This year’s festival was held on Fayetteville Street in Downtown Raleigh on Sunday, 9/25.
Attorney Rachel Fuerst joined in on the fun by volunteering to help out at the Disability Rights North Carolina booth at La Fiesta Del Pueblo. Disability Rights NC helps provide pro-bono advocacy and legal services for people with disabilities across North Carolina. Attorney Rachel Fuerst is a member of the Disability Rights NC Board of Directors and is passionate about protecting the rights of injured people in North Carolina.
