The Raleigh Police Memorial Foundation is pleased to announce the 7th Annual Five-O Memorial Bicycle Ride on Sunday, August 21. The ride will take place along the open roads of Northern Raleigh and Wake County.
This event is held every year to honor Raleigh police officers that have selflessly given their sacrifice and commitment to protect their community. The 7th Annual Five-O Ride will assist in supporting the Raleigh Police Memorial Foundation. The meaning of the memorial represents five words; Serve, Protect, Sacrifice, Honor and Remember.
Henson Fuerst is a proud sponsor of this event as a “Rest Stop Sponsor,” where we will be providing cyclists with food and water as they complete the race. In addition, the Henson Fuerst Cycling Team will be participating in this ride. Our team has grown immensely over the past few years, with what began as a couple members has grown into over 50 members, including top-level triathletes and both recreational and novice cyclists.
Race day will begin with a complimentary breakfast prior to the ride, as well as lunch and entertainment following the event. Participants will have access to locker rooms and showers on race day, and will receive one complimentary guest pass for the facility on another day of their choice. - 100k on-site registration at 7:00 a.m., 100k starts at 7:30 a.m.
- 50k on-site registration at 7:30 a.m., 50k starts at 8:00 a.m.
- Event begins and ends at the Life Time Athletic, located at 8515 Falls of Neuse Road, Raleigh, 27614.
- Tickets start at $35.00.
