North Carolina Personal Injury Lawyers Giving Back to The Community

March 13, 2014

The North Carolina Personal Injury Lawyers with HensonFuerst have been extremely busy lately, working to raise awareness about several causes that are close to our hearts.

This past Saturday, one of the firm’s attorneys, Thomas Henson, participated in the 2014 Ride For The Rock, which was hosted by the Brain Injury Association of North Carolina. The cycling event began at the Waverly Place Whole Foods in Cary before riders either proceeded to take a 50K or 100K route. The focus of the day was raising awareness of the risks associated with brain injury and how to prevent such incidents amongst cyclists.

Attorney David Henson was recently on hand to present a check for $1,500 to local middle school and high school students who won HensonFuerst’s PSA Contest. The contest challenged students to create an anti-bullying video. The winning entries clearly expressed the devastating results that physical, verbal, and cyber abuse can have on individuals, while also encouraging young people to take a stand against such behavior.

With spring right around the corner and warmer weather bringing more motorcycles to the road, the firm is now beginning to focus on its Ride Safe program. The firm will be on hand at local motorcycle events across the region to provide information about the importance of motorcycle safety.

The team of attorneys at HensonFuerst takes pride in helping to make our state a better place to live, and encourages citizens to stay up to date with the latest on what the firm is doing to give back by regularly visiting the Community Involvement page of our website.
