This product is causing Food Poisoning
The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is investigating a multistate outbreak of listeria linked to Vulto Creameries soft raw milk cheese. Since September 1 2016, 2 deaths and 6 hospitalizations have been reported in Connecticut, Florida, New York and Vermont.

Super Markets that carry the Vulto Creamery, soft raw milk cheese have been warned to throw out the affected dangerous products. And consumers have been warned to throw out any of this product they have purchased, or bring it back to the market for a full refund.
Consumers should seek medical attention if they experience any symptoms including these symptoms after eating the recalled cheese:
- Fever
- Muscle Aches
- Diarrhea
- Stiffness
- Nausea
- Abdominal Pain
Symptoms of listeria usually appear a few days up to a few weeks after eating the contaminated food. This investigation is ongoing and once again any consumer or retailer who has this product should immediately dispose of it.
